Travel Cushion in 2 Sizes

Tired of sitting on uncomfortable chairs? Make your own travel cushion to take with you on flights, to ball games, or anywhere you need a little extra TLC!

Requirements:	16 Inch Cushion that folds in half: ¾ yard good quality quilting cotton 2 zippers – regular, #3 – at least 14 inches long Thread to match (also in the bobbin) Pins, scissors, rotary cutter Sewing machine in good working condition Walking foot or regular presser foot ¼ inch presser foot or zipper presser foot Recommended – number 80/12 sharp machine needles The instructor will provide 1 16X16 inch super foam insert, cut in half for a charge of $10. She will also provide soft 1 ¼ inch twill tape in a variety of colors for the hinge or you can use some of the material for the hinge. 18 Inch Cushion that folds in thirds: 1 yard of good quality quilting cotton 3 zippers – regular, #3 – at least 16 inches long 1 yard of 1 inch wide belt/strap 1 1 inch wide side release buckle (also called a parachute buckle) Thread to match (also in the bobbin) Pins, scissors, rotary cutter Sewing machine in good working order Walking foot or regular presser foot ¼ inch presser foot or zipper presser foot Recommended - #90/14 sharp machine needles The instructor will provide 1 18X18 inch super foam insert, cut in thirds for a charge of $10. She will also provide soft 1 ¼ inch twill tape in a variety of colors for the hinges or you can use some of the material for the hinges.
